Were you aware that you can get companies to send you free products and samples . . . just by asking? That’s right, no surveys or gimmicks, just writing them an email or letter could easily get you some free programs or coupons. The majority of people think you need to be involved in dodgy surveys or enroll on even dodgier websites, but this way you merely ask the company directly yourself. You might think that it is just a little degrading to ask for free stuff online samples, but trust me, they already have so many products to provide away that they may be very glad you probably did ask! Some companies may well not reply whatsoever and some might, all depends a bit on luck, however you are guaranteed to get something. Some things you can get are:
Household product samples
Coupons (totally free products or 50% off)
Discounts and vouchers
In this article you will learn the particulars of getting free stuff, which companies you must write to, how to do it yourself, my story, and Tom Locke’s story (he wrote to 100 companies which cost him $39, shows what he got plus more on his website). Enjoy!
Tips to Getting Free Products inside the Mail
Compose a list from the companies whose products you use and extremely love.
Find contact details, preferably a mailing address.
Write a sincere letter expressing just how much you adore these products.
Delay until the final of the letter to inquire about free samples.
How Did I Really Do It?
Recently i encountered the $39 dollar experiment conducted by Tom Locke. In this particular experiment, he wrote to 100 companies asking them free of charge products. It appears that you are able to receive free products from a company simply by saying how much you prefer using their products and expressing what a fan you happen to be of their amazing creations. He received many items and products from various companies. I was impressed. I wanted to test this out for myself.
So, I attempted it with just a few companies. I wrote them each a letter (I let you know that exactly I did so this below) and so i waited. One day, a massive package arrived from the post and i also received a huge amount of products in one company. Some companies never wrote back to me or sent anything, I was expecting that. But, I found that it isn’t all that tough to get some good free products.
1. Make a List of Companies
The very first thing you should do is to create a listing of the businesses you need to write to. You are able to write to one or two or write to four or five, the decision is yours. Take a look at things in your cupboard, bathroom, and office, and collect the names of the companies whose products you like. Listed here are a wide range of companies you could write to, but remember, these companies usually are not guaranteed to provide you with samples; you will need to see yourself. Basically If I have written to any of them and received free products, I’ll show you.
Makeup and Perfume Try writing to makeup companies such as: Clinique, Rimmel, and Carma Labs (others have obtained products from Carma Labs, but I don’t live in America therefore i couldn’t contact them), Chap Stick, Burt’s Bees, Lush, etc.
Food Kraft, Celestial Seasonings, Twinings, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, and Wrigley’s. You’ll mainly get coupons, but you can get several samples too.
Office Supplies 3M (I received free products from their store), Staedtler, Stabilo, Daler and Rowney, Pentel, Sharpie, and Crayola.
Other Colgate-Palmolive, Nestle, and Apple (sent me stickers).
2. Get Addresses or Email
After you have your selection of companies you need to get their contact info. You can do so by either looking at their internet site under the Call Us or About Us links and making note of the address or email address or, by looking at the Call Us info on your product. It can be very difficult sometimes to locate dexkpky12 address. Should you can’t find it, just forget about that company and move ahead. Sometimes an email address works better. Write them an e-mail as opposed to a letter. Gather up some addresses and prepare to get started on writing!
Should I Send a Letter or an Email?
Usually letters suggest for the company which you value their items so much that you simply took the time to create them a letter. I actually have had more success writing a letter than a message. You will need to pay for stamps and envelopes if you choose to write a letter, but you will possess more success than a message.
Carma Laboratories, Inc.

3. Write Your Letter or Email
Upon having your business address, it is time for you to write them a letter. Tell the corporation just how much you value their products as well as their company, why those are the best company for producing that product, the things you love about their product, perhaps give a personal experience, add that you would love to try a greater portion of their range and this you would like to receive some samples. Here is a step by step overview:
Exactly how much you like their company: Say reasons why you similar to their products so much. For example; “Your pens are incredibly smooth to write down with and so are absolutely flawless,” or “Your lotion is very soft and dissolves into my skin instantly!” Make a good paragraph for this and maybe explain two to three of the products.
Say that you have built trust within them: “I usually purchase your brand because I like to be in the know and you will definitely deliver only excellence every time.” or “Your brand has produced excellent bath products over and over. I now always purchase your brand because i recognize that you are going to deliver merely the best every time.”
Include a personal experience: “Once I wash my hair with the silky shampoo, all of my family discuss how soft and luscious my hair is!”
Say simply how much you would want to try much more of their range: “I have got become this sort of loyal customer and fan of the company that we would desire to try even more of your range. Could you send me some examples of your products? Thanks a lot, I would personally be so grateful!”
When writing your letter keep your following points at heart:
Tend not to limit your letter to some ask for free products. They may notice this and won’t deliver any. Tell the truth about the reasons you like their company. You probably to obtain samples if you are a genuinely loyal customer.
Say what your favourite merchandise is and why.
Maybe offer a personal experience (whenever you can).
Be concise and keep to the point. There is absolutely no need to go overboard.
